We Promised You...and a GIVEAWAY!

Yesterday we promised to share a few of our NEWEST and LATEST designs, so here they are. This style is so fun to play around with and easier than you might think.
  1. To get the letters perfect, I usually play around with the letters and words using Photoshop.
  2. When I'm happy with the size and layout, I print my design on printer paper and trace them right on to my watercolor paper. Hint: I set the file size to the same size as my paper so I know the letters will fit.
  3. For tracing, I wait until daytime and tape my papers to a window and trace away using a pencil.
  4. First I ink the letters then draw right around them, so easy and fun -- and really a stunner when finished and colored. Some people use masking fluid to keep  the letters white, but that's too much work for me. I just want to get drawing and coloring!
  • Note: The font I used for this series is Clarendon!
Give it a try, I think you'll love creating this way. Oh, that's right -- I promised you a giveaway. I'll send one of each of these designs to the first 3 comments on this post!
Thanks for visiting, let me know what you think about these designs -- oh and don't forget to subscribe so you can be notified immediately when I'm offering new content (especially the giveaways!) See you again soon.
